What if I don’t inform EQUALS of my illness?

We understand that unexpected situations can make it difficult to visit a medical practitioner. However, if you choose not to provide a medical certificate for your absence, you will be marked as absent, and this will reduce your overall attendance percentage. Your attendance for each study period must remain at or above 80%. Falling below this requirement can affect your course progress and may lead to academic intervention. Consistent attendance is essential for meeting course requirements and, if applicable, visa conditions. If you are unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances, we strongly encourage you to submit appropriate documentation to avoid impacting your attendance record.
