Applying Credit transfer (National Recognition) by VET student

Credit transfer applications can be made via the Credit Transfer application form. You will need to upload documentation to support your application. Copies of documentation must be certified by a Justice of the Peace or other authorised officer prior to upload, except where the documentation relates to training completed at EQUALS. This link shows you who is authorised to certify your documents.

Students may apply for national recognition at any time on or before the census date of the study period in which they are scheduled to commence the relevant unit(s) they are seeking national recognition for. However, they are encouraged to apply prior to course commencement. This will reduce unnecessary training and guide the student down a more efficient path to competence.

We take 10 working days to process applications for Credit Transfer. We will notify you of the outcome of your application once we have processed your application.
