Nursing
Student placements may be self-arranged with the exception of Acute Nursing placements, which are organised by the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team. If you need help securing placement, please lodge a Student Support Ticket and include a list of facilities you have contacted regarding placement so that the Work Integrated Learning team can assist.
Individual Support
Student placements may be self-arranged by students. However, in most cases the Work Integrated Learning team expects to organise placements for students.
Mental Health
Student placements are organised by the Work Integrated Learning team and are not self-arranged.
Early Childhood
Students are encouraged to self-arrange placement. The Work Integrated Learning team are able to assist once students have contacted them via Student Support Ticket with a list of facilities they have previously contacted to try to secure placement.
Pathology
Student placements are organised by the Work Integrated Learning team and are not self-arranged.
Dental Assisting
Students are encouraged to self-arrange placement but can seek assistance from the Work Integrated Learning team via Student Support Ticket.
Community Services/Community Sector
Management
Placements may be self-arranged but are generally arranged by the Work Integrated Learning team.
Leadership and Management
Placements are self-arranged.
Remedial Massage & Ayurveda
Placements may be self-arranged but are generally arranged by the Work Integrated Learning team.
