Doing placement during the semester

How many hours per weeks of placement is required? 

Students may go on placement on days they are not attending class. Students are discouraged from committing to more than 5 combined days of classes and placement as fatigue from the combined workload may affect grades and performance. Placement hours must not exceed 40 hours per week. Rostering of placement hours and limitations of shift numbers is beyond the control of EQUALS and needs to be discussed with your host employer.
